Tour of New England for NE COPS

Tour of New England for NE COPS, is a 3 day tour, covering 3 New England States, traveling over 350 miles, and visiting State Law Enforcement Memorials in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, while honoring ALL of the the fallen LE Officers of New England, and supporting the survivors left behind.  The Tour will begin in Augusta, ME and end in Central Vermont.

All Donations to the ride are tax deductible, NE COPS is a 501c3 registered Non-Profit.

The Tour is raising funds for the New England Chapter of the Concerns of Police Survivors.  Each day will be between 100 miles to 135 miles, is fully supported, and includes double occupancy lodging.  The registration fee is non-refundable and there is a minimum fundraising goal for riders at $600 dollars for the first day for riders, and $300 for the first day for support staff, the registration fee will count toward the fundraising goal.  If you are going participate in more than 1 day, the goal for each day after the first day is $200 for riders, and $200 for support.  So a rider completing the entire ride will raise a minimum of $1,000 and a support member will raise $700.

To participate as a rider, you must either be a Survivor of a Law Enforcement line of duty death, or a sworn LE Officer (active or retired).  To participate as support staff, you must either be a survivor, LE officer, civilain employee of an LE agency, Fire or EMS personnel, or the family member of an LE officer.  There are case by case exceptions to these requirements, please contact the Tour for questions on this before registering.

Riders and Support can participate in all 3 days of the Tour or 1 day or any combination.  There will be a limit to 40 riders per day.  Riders will be issued a Tour Jersey and Support Personel will be issued a uniform shirt.

If you chose to, you may join with the Springfield Police Department Ride to Remember year 3 on Saturday, 9/19/15.  This ride begins in Springfield MA and ends in Boston.  Please contact me for additional information on participating as a Tour member in the R2R ride.
