Welcome

Stay in the foothills of the White Mountains in Western Maine on the border of New Hampshire.

We are centrally located to all attractions including great skiing (Shawnee Peak, Cranmore, Sunday River, King Pine, Bear Notch), Fryeburg Fair,  Fryeburg Academy, Naples, North Conway New Hampshire, Bridgton, beautiful Kezar lake, Kezar Country Club, Ebenezer’s Brew Pub the White Mountain National Forest and only 55 miles from Portland Maine.

Center Lovell Inn is a beautiful Georgian-era style historic farmhouse on Main Street in Lovell, Maine. This farmhouse was built in 1803, has lots of old-world charm and original details including exposed wood beams and two original wood burning fireplaces in the common areas. The two hundred plus year old wide plank wood floors do creek but that is part of the charm.

Why not treat yourself to a bottle of wine or pour your own cocktail from the “Honor Bar?” Enjoy on the patio while taking in the sun set or in front of a crackling fire in the winter.

At Center Lovell Inn (CLI)  we celebrate the heyday of Old New England hospitality of a bygone era.  A time of always farm fresh ingredients, a hardy cook to order breakfast and exceptional customer care.

CLI is the precursor to the ‘modern’ boutique hotels, when things were simple, intimate and classic.  We take great inspiration from the past, all the while welcoming the creature comforts of today. Your stay will be akin to taking a special trip back in time albeit with the fastest internet speed available and a streaming TV in all guest rooms.

In addition to the warm hospitality and great food, the spectacular sunset and mountain views  amidst the unimpeded panorama of the  Presidential Range of the White Mountain National Forest make it worth visiting.

Planing a big event, such as a Maine wedding?  Why not reserve the entire Center Lovell Inn.  Please refer to our Room Buyout page for more information.
